    We purchased a home from another local builder. About a year after we had moved into our house, we had some major cracking/splitting in the drywall seam in our kitchen on the ceiling. At first we thought we might have to repair a small section, it looked like it might just be coming loose. Later the cracking got bigger, wider, and longer, but only in the middle of the ceiling, nothing on the side walls or exterior walls and no cracking in our concrete floors. After 5 years of waiting and looking at the eye sore in the middle of our kitchen ceiling (around 10 ft. long) we decided it was time to get help. So we called Bobby Murray to come look at our situation and get an estimate to get it fixed. My thoughts were that they had installed the sheet rock wrong. Anyway Bobby looked at it and thought he might know what the issue was and wanted to bring a structural expert out to look at the situation also. After talking it over it was decided that it appeared that one of the supports in the attic may be too tight causing the cracking. The support was replaced the ceiling repaired and textured, along with 7 or 8 doorway cracks. It has been a year since that was done and not any cracking has started on the ceiling or any of the doorways that were repaired and textured. Thanks for your help Bobby, the repairs look fantastic, we would not hesitate to recommend Bobby Murray!

    With our newly growing family, our house felt like it was shrinking. My wife and I decided to entertain the idea of converting our existing 3rd car garage into an extension of our house. We solicited input and quotes from several individuals. Eventually, we decided to go with Bobby. During the bid process, Bobby took the time to get to know our family, our desires, and our limitations. Because of his commitment to understand us, Bobby was able to suggest different approaches and options to achieve our end goal. His cost estimations were very thorough and transparent, allowing us to understand where the expenses were. This transparency allowed us to make educated decisions on how to approach our remodel. During the planning and construction phase, my wife and I were very apprehensive since we had a new baby in the house. Bobby seemed to genuinely understand that this project would impact our home and daily routines. He was very open to coordinating his tasks around daily naps, dinners, etc.  My wife and I were also very impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail of the crew Bobby utilized for the project. They seemed to understand that they were working in a house that people lived in, and as such were very respectful of our home, and committed to limiting any collateral mess as much as possible.  Throughout the project, Bobby ensured that we were updated as to the schedule and finances, so we understood exactly how the project was progressing, and we could adjust our plan as desired.  The end result far exceeded our expectations. The level of professionalism, attention to detail, and consideration of our family’s needs have ensured that we will seek to have Bobby help us with all our future projects. My wife is already planning the next one as we speak.

    We bought a Bobby Murray home in 2008 and couldn’t be happier with it.  The second we walked in the door we fell in love with the house and new it was going to be our first home.  All the detail and unique features made it stand out from all the other houses we looked at.  Bobby has been great to work with ever since we moved in, and is only a phone call away with any issues that come up.  Whether it is adjusting a door or fixing some grout he sends someone over right away and they always do a great job.  If we ever decided to build a new home in the Amarillo area, we would definitely want another Bobby Murray home.
